Teas with hints of roses are among the more classically flavored teas from China. Many of these teas are made with essences today, but the best qualities are produced in the traditional way – red rose petals and tea leaves are alternated during production until the right flavor is achieved. This way the tea becomes full-bodied, floral and slightly sweet in character.
